We meet at 9:30 AM on Tuesday and Friday at the German Club (160 Cartwright Avenue) for an approximately two hour ride. What does FOG&G stand for? Fast Old Guys & Gals of course!
The goal of this ride is to allow club members to get out and work on intensity or ride for pleasure while in the company of other club members on a set route. Therefore, it's likely that riders will be strung out along the route possibly in groups of 1 - 7 people. The goal is to keep the groups smaller than 8 people as the intensity may be a bit higher, so the risk of injury increases.
The focus of the ride is fitness and/or pleasure. It is suitable for anyone, of any speed, on any style of bike. It is a timed ride (1.75 hours) which means riders ride out and back at a pace they find comfortable and finish at approximately the same time. Speeds will vary greatly, so if you are not sure you will be able to ride as fast as some of the riders, bring a friend to ride with. Some riders prefer to ride solo which is totally acceptable. After the ride we go to a coffee shop so plan to stick around and visit.

We meet at time TBD in spring of 2016 on Sunday at the German Club (160 Cartwright Avenue) for an approximately one and a half hour ride. The goal of this ride is for club members to have fellow club members to ride with in a recreational setting. Stronger riders may prefer to ride in a faster group at the front of this ride, but the main group will ride at a speed to accommodate those wishing to visit and ride.
The focus of the ride is on fun. It is suitable for anyone who can maintain 20 kmh for one and a half hours. It is a timed ride (1.5 hours) so distances vary on weather conditions (wind). If two or more people show up, we have a group.
